The Fraunhofer Chemistry Alliance was constituted on February 19, 2021 with its twelve founding institutes. The alliance currently comprises 15 Fraunhofer institutes.
The institutes of the Fraunhofer Chemistry Alliance work on more than 700 projects annually in contract research, generating revenues of about €100-120 million.
Annual investments in the double-digit million euro range guarantee state-of-the-art research equipment and infrastructure in the laboratories, pilot plants and development centers.
